Names and symbols are shared for fun and reference; how they display depends on your phone and on Garena’s current rules, which can change with any update.

FFNickname is a fan site. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Garena, the publisher of Free Fire and Free Fire MAX. “Free Fire” and related names are trademarks of their owners and are used here only to describe where our names can be pasted.
Names can look different on your phone
Styled names are Unicode characters, not a downloadable font. A symbol that looks perfect on one phone can show as an empty box (▢) on another that lacks the character, and Free Fire may refuse some characters outright. The Hangul filler U+3164, for example, stopped working as a blank name in update OB43; the no-break space U+00A0 still works.
What the in-game check column means
On our lists, ✅, ▢ or ✖ appear only after a real test on a phone, with the date of that test. Not tested yet means exactly that: we have not entered the name in the game, and you should try it before you pay for a rename.
Rename costs are yours
Changing a Free Fire name uses a Rename Card or diamonds (widely reported as 390). Check the price in your own game before you confirm. FFNickname cannot refund diamonds or reverse a name change.
Limits marked “verify”
Where a page says “verify” — such as the 12-character nickname limit most players report — Garena has not published the rule and we have not measured it ourselves yet.

Why does a name work for my friend but not for me?
Different phones carry different character sets, and Free Fire MAX and Free Fire can behave differently. Try a simpler style or report the name to us.
Is it safe to use symbols in my Free Fire name?
Symbols the game accepts are allowed. Avoid names that impersonate others or break the game’s rules; that is what gets accounts reported.
How do I report a name that failed?
Use the contact form with the name, what the game showed and your phone model. The FFNickname team checks every detailed report.
